Past Animation - Uni

In my previous post I talked to you about the stop motion animation that I created in my last year at Basingstoke College Of Technology (BCOT). In this post I will be looking back at my more resent animations that I have created during my time at university (my first and second years).

I created my first stop motion in my university course was in my first year. for the typography work. For this project I needed to create the meaning of a word. The word that I chose to do was LEGO. In my mind I wanted to used lego characters to build up the letters L.E.G.O. But as this was only meant to be a 30 seconds animation. So in the end I changed my initial idea. I took out the lego characters and I created the animation so that the lego would create the letters.

My lego Pirates of the caribbean animation was something that I created during my end of year show 2012. The idea being that the public who came to the end of year show could have a go at creating there own stop motion animation. but as we did not have many people looking around it gave me the opportunity to create my own animation.

Gnomes In The Garden which you can view an this blog was originally going to be used for my Final Major Project as a contingency plan if everything else failed. As I had the images I decided that I would create the animation as part of my university course.
